Breakthrough Prize Screens Video Content – Produced by Image 8 Nineteen Inc.
We designed motion graphic screens video content for the 2020 Breakthrough Prize Ceremony. This awards ceremony took place at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA. It is also broadcasted live on National Geographic. Before we start to design motion graphics across this massive video surface. First, we have to review and understand each of the recipient’s research achievements. Then we take the scale of the room into consideration for layout. And with the screens content design canvas over 6000 pixels across. This creates the two major challenges we excel at room-scale and surface resolution. Creating large visual landscapes is what we like to call the designs we create.
Year after year we have enjoyed these design and research challenges. Breakthrough Prize screens video content stands out as one of our favorites. It’s such an honor to interpret and design visuals in honor of these recipients’ work. Having clear communication and pipeline infrastructure has been the key to our success. This was the sixth consecutive year we have designed screens video content for the stage. The senior motion graphic content design team is offsite during this live production. But we continue to support onsite production all the way up until doors open. If you want to know more visit the Breakthrough Prize or check out our project image links below.
